Connect an AI assistant to BusinessPilot AI

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to your workspace so it can work with your invoices, customers, credit balance and UAE e-invoicing documents on your behalf. You sign in with your BusinessPilot account, so the assistant only sees what you can see.

Connect

ChatGPT
  1. Open ChatGPT settings → Apps (Advanced) and turn on Developer mode, reading the risk notice shown there. If the option is missing, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it for your account.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog .
  3. Enter BusinessPilot AI as the name and paste the connection URL above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom server), then click Create.
  5. Sign in with your BusinessPilot AI account when prompted, enable the app from the chat composer, and ask ChatGPT to use it.
Claude
  1. Open the Claude custom connector dialog — the name and URL are prefilled.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form does not open, go to Claude → Settings → Connectors, choose “Add custom connector”, name it BusinessPilot AI and paste the connection URL above.
  4. Sign in with your BusinessPilot AI account, enable the connector from the chat composer, and ask Claude to use it.

  1. Run the command above in a terminal — that is the whole install.
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm BusinessPilot AI is connected, signing in from that menu when asked.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use BusinessPilot AI.
Other AI assistants
  1. Open the assistant’s MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it BusinessPilot AI and paste the connection URL above.
  4. Complete the sign-in and authorization prompts with your BusinessPilot AI account.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after we ship updates

Assistants remember the capabilities they saw when you connected. After a BusinessPilot AI update, refresh the connection so the newest ones appear.

ChatGPT
  1. Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select BusinessPilot AI.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT cannot change an existing app’s URL — if the URL above changed, delete the app and add it again with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use BusinessPilot AI.
Claude
  1. Open the Connectors page and select the BusinessPilot AI connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector.
  3. Claude cannot change an existing connector’s URL — if the URL above changed, remove the connector and add it again.
  4. Ask Claude to use BusinessPilot AI.
Claude Code
  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest capabilities on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove businesspilot-ai and run the install command above again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use BusinessPilot AI.
Other AI assistants
  1. Open the assistant’s MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for BusinessPilot AI.
  3. Refresh the capabilities, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use BusinessPilot AI.
